  Not for Profit Organizations  
  National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility (NOVA)
The National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility (NOVA) believes that every individual has the right to accessible transportation. NOVA’s mission is to assist those with mobility needs through education, information and product acquisition. The National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility works to provide vehicle modification grants to individuals with disabilities throughout the United States and Canada in need of financial assistance.
  State Agencies  
  New York State Adult and Continuing Education Services – Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR)
ACCES-VR offers access to a full range of services that may be needed by persons with disabilities.
  Professional Organizations  
  The Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED)
ADED's functional services will be accomplished through educational conferences, professional development programs, research support, legislative efforts, and encouraging equipment development to maximize transportation options for persons with disabilities.
  Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA)
RESNA is a professional society for individuals and organizations interested in technology related to disabilities. RESNA contributes to the public welfare through scientific, literary, professional and educational activities by supporting the development, dissemination, and utilization of knowledge and practice pertaining to rehabilitation and assistive technology so that all citizens can achieve the highest quality of life.
  National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA)
NMEDA is a non-profit trade association of mobility equipment manufacturers, dealers, driver rehabilitation specialists, and other professionals. This organization is dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities and assisting them with driving independence through the use of wheelchair accessible vans, truck and cars.
American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
The American Occupational Therapy Association advances the quality, availability, use, and support of occupational therapy through the development and setting of standards, advocacy, education, and research on behalf of its members and the public.
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)
SAE International is a global body of scientists, engineers, and practitioners who advance self-propelled vehicle and system knowledge in a neutral forum for the benefit of society.
